My role as a health mentor

For the people curious about my job as a health mentor.... First of all I love to do it. Being a health mentor is a great way for me to work one-on-one and also in groups, to assist people to get healthy. When you hire me as your health mentor, expect to cause breakthroughs and experience transformation! I communicate with you via email, phone, skype or in person, and we work together on what your health goals are. Then I provide you with one-month of an eating plan, recipes, tips and tools to achieve those health goals. Then I am here for you as you go through your health journey, and you can ask as many questions as you like - and I am here for you to get that breakthrough you may be looking for. I assist people to transform their health much like what I did for myself. I love this job, it is my passion and I believe my purpose. I have worked with people who wanted to lose weight, heal cancer, improve diabetes, fix eating disorders and just become a more conscious eater. I also teach you along the way how to make certain raw foods if you are a beginner. If you are experienced and healthy, then I am here to help you get to that next level. We never stop growing and we can always have new health goals. I myself have mentors who help me stay on track. It is so empowering to have a team of people around you who are invested in your success!

I always say imagine the top 3 things you want to transform this year....

The role of a mentor in the dictionary means: A person who advises.

Whole30 Recipe // Roasted Brussels with Garlic Aioli Sauce

OH MY GOODNESS!! This deserves all caps guys. Roasted brussels sprouts with garlic aioli sauce and it is no joke top 3 in my veggie recipes now! Serious game changer. FOR THE SPROUTS cut them in half length wise and toss in avocado oil & sea salt bake at 400 for 30 min until slightly browned FOR THE SAUCE THAT WILL MAKE YOUR HEART SING all ingredients need to be at room temperature mix up 1 egg yoke with 1/4 tsp salt, 1/3 tsp dijon mustard, 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp white vinegar. After all ingredients are whisked together take 3/4 c avocado oil and slowly drip in the bowl whole whisking quickly all the ingredients, slowly is key! Took me about 3 minutes timed to mix it all in and it whips up to the a creamy sauce consistency after it's fluffy, whisk in 1/2 tsp minced garlic and you're done! I dipped the sprouts in the sauce like chips and dip and seriously ate most of that plate, THAT GOOD!!

Whole30 Recipe // Roasted Cauliflower

I just had leftovers for dinner tonight but, I did roast up some cauliflower too! This is hands down the easiest yummiest veggie recipe I make 2-3 times a week. Toss cauliflower (I buy the precut fresh bag from costco) in avocado oil and sea salt, bake at 400° for 30 min, voila !

Foods for concentration and focus

Foods that nourish our brains and provide it with essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients, are great for improving focus and concentration.

Oppositely, foods that aren't helpful for concentration are ones that deprive our bodies of nutrition. Processed foods.

Here are some foods to incorporate for improving focus and concentration:
Drink Ginkgo biloba daily until it just doesn't resonate with you. After your body has had a high dose it naturally won't want it!

Also what works is fish, especially salmon, berries, ginseng, avocado, quinoa, cacao (real chocolate)!

Eat these foods daily until you feel an improvement!

Here are 4 recipes:
1. Chocolate Avocado Mousse
http://www.theearthdiet.org/35/post/2014/04/chocolate-cinnamon-mousse.html

2. Baked Salmon (with Walnut Crust)
http://www.theearthdiet.org/23/post/2013/11/baked-crusted-salmon.html

3. Quinoa with avocado and strawberries
http://www.theearthdiet.org/25/post/2014/02/quinoa-with-avocado-cucumber-and-strawberries.html

4. Berry Smoothie

http://www.theearthdiet.org/28/post/2013/12/protein-berry-chocolate-smoothie.html

Ideally if you can eat only natural foods for the rest of your life you know your taking care of your body and living your healthiest life. Processed foods that have chemicals, refined sugar and flour will deprive your body of nourishment and nutrition and can do the opposite of what you want to achieve more focus and memory! The chemicals and preservatives in processed foods can weaken memory!!

Let me know how you go with these!

I got this research from the following resources: Dr Robert Young, Dr Brian Clements, Julie Daniluk, Natural News, and my own experiences.
