Eating in Ft Lauderdale today

Today was bitter sweet. I dropped my sister off at the airport early. It was so good to spend some days with her! She's onto traveling her 40th country! So this is me starting the day with Phresh Greens! A full serving of vegetables in one drink! Amazing.

When she left I got to work on the Earth Diet book launch. For lunch I had this raw chocolate protein bar!

For dinner we went to the Fresh Market in Ft Lauderdale. This place was awesome and stocked everything we need to live the Earth Diet lifestyle.

Here's what we got: watermelon, natures path cereal, orange juice, avocados, nectarines, lemon, miracle tart, organic peanut butter, lettuce, sea bass and kombucha!

Was so excited about this organic nectarine.

Delicious. Natures candy.

Friday night drink! Kombucha with tequila and frozen berries as ice ;) ! Delicious

Snack: organic French bread with avocado and salt and pepper. For "butter" I used olive oil.

Home cooked dinner! Sea bass on a huge salad of spinach, avocado, lemon, olive oil and watermelon!

Lots of nourishment and nutrition today! I also did 10 minutes meditation, and an hour of stretching in the sauna!

Road trip eating

Today my sister and I drove from Disney World to Ft Lauderdale! Here is how I ate for the day...

I started the day with Phresh Greens in water! Then I had raw chocolate (protein bar). Then I did 50 minutes of stretching.

Then we started driving and as soon as we saw "Nature's Table" we had to pull over! So curious to see what they offered and very impressed with their selection! They had fruit salad, wraps and sandwiches, salads and smoothies.

I got myself this beautiful selection of fruit! Aka natures candy!

After 3 hours of driving we reached the Vitacost headquarters in Boca Raton!

These are all the new health products that Vitacost have created! Very excited as vitacost offer organic and non Gmo ingredients for up to 50% off! I will be writing more about this and how you can save when shopping!

Of course the first thing I tried was the vitacost chocolate mandarin orange! Amazing!

Next stop was the Boca Raton Wholefoods! Such a gorgeous market place!

Here Shawn was sampling some new products "That's It" and honestly I was blown away! These bars have just fruit! No other ingredients! No preservatives or additives! Just cherries and apples in one bar. And apricot and apple in another. Really impressive. Organic and non-Gmo. Super clean! Candy lovers you will enjoy this as much as I did!

That's it!!!

For dinner I had this from the Wholefoods buffet: peas, Mac n cheese, vegetable stir fry rice, potatoes and a chicken drumstick.

Now I'm enjoying this kombucha with tequila! My favorite drink of choice if I am having alcohol and the most natural ;)

66 days to book launch!

How to be healthy at Disney World

Today I was welcomed by Disney World to experience their park and write a review on the healthiest aspects, and where there is room for improvement.

Before anything, here is a quick list to print out and take with you to Disney, so you can be healthy and ensure your energy levels are high throughout the days of adventuring:

1. Instead of french fries you can order apple slices!
2. There are vegetarian options at all of the Disney parks including hummus and edame at Animal Kingdom. Also at Animal Kingdon is a restaurant where you can get spit roast - for the meat eaters - who want a cleaner meat rather than fried food.
3. Epcot park is for sure Disney's healthiest park! They do hydroponics where you can actually take a tour and see all the fruits, vegetables and herbs they grow - which they then use in their restaurants and cafes. Epic. Take the Living in The Land tour they are all about higher yielding and better quality plants. They also focus on plants and crops that survive in salt water which is more sustainable for our day and age. Also they enrich the soil without the use of chemicals. They use natural pesticides like lady bugs. The idea of Epcot is to show people how we can live a sustainable future in conjunction with the tech world.
4. If you are a chocolate lover like me take some raw chocolate with you - they don't have that yet! But they do have fruits.

I started the day with raw chocolate on a road trip from Miami beach to Orlando. Was such a great drive especially in a convertible with fresh air and sunshine, plus I found out it was about to be Florida's hottest day of the year.

When we arrived at the park I made my first purchase, this Go Healthy Snack - clementines.

We started with the Epcot park.

We went on the Living With The Land tour where they showed us how they make hydroponic fruits and vegetables at the park - plus they use some of them in the restaurants! I was very impressed.

Cacao trees.

These are also available at Magic Kingdom!

Next we went to Animal Kingdom.

Day at Miami Beach

Started the day with lots of water and some organic cereal (Nature's Path) by the poolside with my sister! She wrote her travel blog, I had a couple of phone meetings about some exciting collaborations coming up!

Then we went to the beach. This is definitely my kind of weather hot hot hot! A couple of locals gave us this fresh coconut and we drank the coconut water... Wow so amazing! So fresh!

For an afternoon snack I had an Earth Diet Chocolate Almond Butter cup. So fulfilling... High in protein and antioxidants.

These are gold!

For dinner I had sea weed salad...

And salmon!

For dessert I had a green tea and raw chocolate bar! Yum! By the poolside in a divine location which is where I am writing this blog from!

Will do some yoga and meditation before bed. Will have a nourishing sleep.

Guess what tomorrow is so exciting! 68 days to book launch!
