Holiday food

Started the day with breakfast in bed - greens drink! I am using Phresh Greens in water. I always travel with this product so I can have greens wherever I am.

My second breakfast was this raw chocolate almond butter cup. So grateful to be on the beach.

I am at Jersey Shore - New Jersey. I was a little nervous that I would not find organic food while here for a few days! And phew when I googled health food stores I found Dean's Natural Health Market! I get so excited to check out organic stores that I haven't been too yet! And here is what I got organic cherries, green tea, organic pizza, classic cream cookies by Back To Nature, organic toothpaste, chocolate peanut butter ice cream (coconut milk), coconut milk ice creams with chocolate coating, alkaline water, raw chocolate and organic candy snakes.

Enjoyed some ice cream for lunch.

For dinner I chose to go out and enjoy some family and friends. I also knew their place of choice served Gmo food, but I chose to be around the company rather than not go. I made the most of it and had a garden salad...

A seaweed salad...

And fish and chips. Now this meal is totally Gmo, except for the broccoli. I usually don't eat like this however I didn't want to make the people I was dining with uncomfortable so I really did enjoy it. I know tomorrow morning I will do grounding, yoga and swim in the ocean to balance out these toxins. Making it work!

Had big glass of water.

Went straight to Organic Avenue upper west side and had the best breakfast ever! Orange juice, green juice, vegan cookie and vegan cup cakes!

Then got my hair done at NY Hair Co - organic and animal cruelty free products! Amazing! Thank you to Andrew and the team!

Day of eating before NYC speaking event

Started the day with a blueberry smoothie. Women's Health on Instagram declared it a blueberry smoothie week - so be it! This one has blueberries, water, hazelnut butter, cacao powder and maca powder.

3 beautiful squash from the garden! The fruits of my labor! :) rewarding!

Had home fries for lunch with real salt and pepper. Some people are afraid of potatoes, remember they are grounding, high in vitamin c and perfect for a healthy lifestyle on a budget.

An hour after potatoes I had this refreshing green juice!

Second smoothie of the day!
Picked these herbs from the garden for dinner! Basil, parsley, cilantro and thyme! That's some kale there too!

Made vegan Mac n cheese! Made with 4 ingredients: brown rice pasta, nutritional yeast, salt and water! Gluten free too! Amazing!

Had IAM Sleepy energy shot!

Such a full on day getting prepared for the Seed Experience! Here is a sneak peak to the free gift the attendees are getting! ;)

How to eat carbs in a healthy way

This is my food log from yesterday. I was craving carbs so here is how I fulfilled that in a healthy way:

For breakfast I had some oats with brown rice syrup. Oats can be grounding and calming.

For lunch I had some potato cubes cooked in coconut oil with organic ketchup (recipe in new book).

For an afternoon snack I made my favorite superfood smoothie - recipe in new book.

For dinner I had a green juice, green tea plus mashed potato. Mashed with coconut oil, real salt and pepper. The green juice and green tea helps to digest all the carbs from the day as they are both high in antioxidants. The green juice also adds the raw element for the day which is how we can make eating carbs possible.

Getting ready to speak at the Seed Experience tomorrow in NYC!

Grounding foods

Today was full on as is everyday it seems leading up to this book launch! I worked on the new website that we are launching, as well as preparing for the Seed Experience event I am speaking at this Saturday in NYC, as well as spreading the word about the Detox Summit and Cancer Summit I am speaking at. It's full on time for everyone on earth to be our healthiest selves mode!

Here is what I nourished my body with today:

Breakfast Superfood Smoothie! Loaded! Recipe in new book.

Lunch: Watermelon!

Made hazelnut butter! This is an amazing simple recipe, just add 2 cups of nuts to an S Blade food processor and after 15-25 mins it will release oils and eventually turn to butter like this! New recipe in the book!

Afternoon tea: green tea!

Did my hour of grounding/intuitive exercise workout!

Made these lovely golden fries! Organic potatoes in coconut oil - super grounding.

Then had a complete feast: chunky fries, purple onions, bean burgers and huge green salad with greens from the garden, kale, cucumber and mint! With a sesame seed oil dressing, apple cider vinegar and agave. So yum and grounding.

Also I am giving 10 people the opportunity to be on my guest list! To enter pre-order my new book from Amazon or Barnes and Noble and forward the receipt to liana@theearthdiet.org and I will select the first 10 people who do this!

So today was a lot of organization for the event this weekend as well as preparing for the book launch!

I started the day with a lot of hydration, ate a lot of watermelon. Breakfast yum.

Then had this bowl of pineapple and green juice as I was on a marketing meeting call.

For a late lunch I had this superfood smoothie yum with such high vibe ingredients: cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, maca, raw chocolate, hemp seeds, chia seeds and water. Recipe in new book.

I wrote on Instagram that I never get tired of picking fresh greens from the garden! Here is kale and chives about to be part of my dinner feast!

I made this! So yum brown rice pasta - I just love being able to eat pasta that is gluten free! With sautéed greens and carrot in coconut oil. With garlic.

Mmm amazing. It's getting late in NY but I am craving some watermelon. Might just make that my dessert!

Hope to see you this weekend at The Seed Experience!

Much love, Liana

Such a delicious day!

I started the day with oil pulling using sesame seed oil. Then I went for a walk to the post office to send me Aunty and Mum a gift. It was my Auntys birthday, and my Mum is working on healing her depression. So I put together these care packages for them:
For my Aunty.

For my mum.

Then I had a huge glass of alkaline water with some fresh lime squeeZed into it.

Then for lunch I made this super loaded smoothie with my favorite ingredients: cherries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, maca, raw chocolate and water! It's so so so fulfilling.

Then I had quite a few Skype calls with the new Earth Diet Health Coaches! Excited to announce them soon!

I took my friends dog for a long walk. And then I did 45 minutes of stretching outside in the garden.

Then I picked my dinner! Got here kale, chives and basil! Wow so vibrant.

Then a friend stir fried this with other vegetables from the garden; zucchini, tomatoes with carrots and garlic. Yum then we added brown rice pasta. What a feast.

I had seconds! So good. I love how this pasta is gluten free as its made with brown rice! Incredible invention!

For dessert I had this amazing ice cream pop! Made with cashews and infused with lavender from the garden! Incredibly healing! The cashew ice cream is a recipe in my new book, and the lavender is one of the many variations to make any flavored ice cream you want!

Worked some more hours like a busy bee, and then this midnight snack happened:

Got this amazing thank you card from Southold School children today! So sweet! I appreciate the love and acknowledgement it keeps me going!

Light food today

I had a very relaxing Sunday with a lot of rest and light foods.

Started with my favorite superfood smoothie with ingredients: cherries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, hemp seeds, water, maca and cacao powder.

Then I had another smoothie exactly the same some hours later. We crave what we crave! But this smoothie I added some Raw Almond Chocolate (available for purchase on Earth Diet website) to make it thicker and have more protein.

Then for dinner I had a bowl of watermelon and spearmint.

A light and refreshing day today. You can see that yesterday I consumed a lot of calories, so today my body is balancing itself out.
