Whole30 Recipe // Sweet Potato Bun with Burger & Asparagus "Fries"



If you've been following for a while you know I'll use just about anything as a vehicle to get a good burger in my mouth, I've tried lettuce, eggplant, tomato and now SWEET POTATO! I will tell you this one wins! I just sliced the thickest section of a sweet potato and lightly spread some avocado oil and pink salt on top baked at 375° for 30 min - it makes for a super easy "bun" - asparagus as "fries" and this is practically gourmet!

Whole30 Tip // What's the deal with Himalayan pink salt? Most table salt is so processed its completely void of nutrients. Pink salt has the FULL spectrum of all 84 minerals and elements! It's unrefined "raw" salt that was hand mined from caves. Tastes amazing and looks pretty too!

Whole30 Recipe // Broccoli Ham Quiche in a Sweet Potato Crust


 FOR THE CRUST mince one sweet potato in a food processor and then combine with 2 1/2 Tbs ghee - press into pie pan bake at 450° for 30 min until golden brown.

 FOR THE QUICHE mix 5 eggs and I cup chopped broccoli 1 cup chopped ham 3 green onions chopped up and 1/2 Tbs sea salt and 1/4 tsp paprika - pour mixture into baked sweet potato crust and bake at 350° for 40 min - serve!

When feeling down here is some positivity and inspiration

When I am having a bad moment and really want to feel better, I listen to some of these inspiring stories and people on Youtube. Immediately there is some relief, as these stories are full of love, hope, inspiration, conscious and joy. Sometimes I will listen to them for hours until I am fully past being stuck in a rut. 

As Tony Robbins says "There is no obstacle on the planet that can stop you. Period."
His videos are great to have in the background at work as he emanates energy and positivity - you can't help but feel better and more empowered! "Tiny change means big results"



Eckhart Tolle talks about being present and conscious - no matter what. He talks about pain and suffering and how to go beyond it. "How to live without stress in your day to day life."


Anita Moorjani was in a coma and had a near death experience that changed her life. She had 24 tumors the size of lemons and realized that her consciousness could shift everything. To this day she is alive and well. She gives hope to all people with tumors, cancer and life threatening disease. "Dying To  Be Me" Doctors gave her just hours to live...

Whole30 Recipe // Antipasto Stuffed Tomatoes



Antipasto stuffed tomatoes - a spin off of my salami cups but this time in a tomato - I like it!  Spoon out the inside of a large tomato chop up the insides with artichoke hearts, fresh basil, black olives and salami- Enjoy!

Whole30 Tip // Cucumber, Mint & Lemon Infused Water



Some refreshing cucumber mint lemon water to start the day, I love making my infused water the night before so it can really soak up all the flavor by morning. Fresh cucumbers, sliced lemons, and fresh mint, add to a bottle or water, Voss is my favorite these days.
